Jalil Azizi Architect AIBC, B. Arch, M. Arch

Jalil is the Founder and Principle of Accord Architecture Inc. He is a registered Architect with the AIBC (Architectural Institute of British Columbia)
With a proven success record of progressive leadership capacities, he brings over twenty years of extensive experience in architecture and the construction industry, specialized in large-scale mixed-use and residential high-rise projects. Jalil has been also involved in many other project types including commercial, institutional, industrial, single family houses, and renovation/tenant improvement design in Iran and Canada. He has led numerous sizeable and complex development projects at distinctive stages including, feasibility study and master plan, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and contract/construction administration.
Jalil received his Master and Bachelor in Architecture from Shahid Beheshti University (formerly National University of Iran). In Canada he has passionately participated in several projects with accomplished firms including Gensler, IBI Group and Chris Dikeakos Architects.
As a multitasking individual, has effectively and efficiently led several architectural teams and numerous projects simultaneously during various stages of development. His work experience also comprises management, mentoring and directing junior team members using thorough evaluations and encouragement.
Jalil's recent role comprised of practise area leadership, quality management (QA/QC), design and technical director responsibilities, research, training, business development, and client relationships. Moreover, He continues to take on volunteer positions with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, serving on oral review and assessment panels. He is also serving on the advisory design panel for the City of Surrey. Within his career, He has also established positive and professional relationships with the local authorities with jurisdiction, including cities and health authorities, several developers, and consultants.
